I gather you must take notes when watching TV Deborah! I can barely remember what I’ve watched the previous evening! I do agree that The Woman in the wall was worth the watch and memorable. A reminder of the terrible goings on in the Magdalene laundries in Ireland and the numerous “lost” babies. I did persevere through Boiling Point but not sure if I need to replay episode two? Apologies to all those Executive Producers out there as I really don’t read all the credits! Thanks for “enlightening” me regarding the Lumie vitamin L light box and look forward to hearing your opinion on that. As always Deborah, your writing gives food for thought and usually brings at least one smile to my face! Thank you and well done 👏

'Isn't she clever?' Yes agree with this. Going slightly off topic I started watching The Bear because you mentioned it in one of your pieces. Love, love, love! Last 2 episodes of S2 to watch tonight. Not sure what I'm going to do with myself when it's over. Sad face

Glad you are enjoying The Bear! You can feel a bit bereft when you get to the end of a good series! Boiling Point is set in a kitchen too and you could watch all 5 seasons of my favourite Marvellous Mrs Maisel!

Thank you Linda! I will let you know how I get on with the Lumie Vitamin L - 30 mins per day once the clocks go back is the plan. I’ll sit and write in the bright light of it! Sometimes I pay attention when watching tv but sometimes not! I really did find The Woman in the Wall an important reminder of the scandal of the Magdalene laundries. Thanks for reading!
