Thank you so much for this Emma. As I write this, I am working on finishing my first essay for a book I am hoping to self-publish in the Autumn/Winter. I've much more writing to do but if you've any contacts with wisdom on self-publishing or know good copy-editors, designers, printers, I do need to find those! Working on all that as well!
I do indeed! I'm a structural/line editor myself and would be happy to help, and I can definitely refer you to a couple of freelance copy editors. I know a great designer and I have recently explored all the UK-based printers so can recommend you a great one of those too. Just drop me a line when you're ready!
