This was fabulous Deborah. Reminded me a bit Of Barbara Brown Taylor and thats a pretty big compliment in my world. Finished your tremendous collection of essays a couple of weeks ago.

They were terrific. You put so much research into each one and made lots of very helpful stuff accessible and available to us as we read them so thankyou!

Thank you so much Jono and yes, this is a great compliment! I’m so glad you read the book and enjoyed the essays! Hope you are well. I’m still listening away to your podcast. The recent church planting speakers were very interesting.

I've always found Easter season weighty. We Catholics do it well. Betrayal, death, resurrection and plenty of guilt. This year was no exception. Then the Pope went and died which kinda confirmed what I'd always felt about Easter. Being a carer is hard Deborah. It requires that you adjust your expectations not bury them. Just tweak them. Ultimately we have no choice but to care and love as you've described here. I think it's the fact that we have no choice that makes it seem hard. Funny story next week please.

Thank you J this is good advice re tweaking the expectations. I’m doing my best (not sure I’m a natural carer) and hoping I can find a funny story for next week!
